Raniera Watson of Ngāti Tūwharetoa is a Māori carver and artist from Aotearoa, creating handmade taonga inspired by whakapapa, tikanga Māori, and traditional designs. His work includes hei tiki, pounamu-style carvings, and contemporary Māori art that reflects both cultural identity and creativity. Raniera is also studying Māori law, further strengthening the cultural foundations behind his work.

The Pekapeka is a sacred symbol inspired by New Zealand's native bat (Pekapeka). This ancient amulet serves as a guardian against unseen forces, offering protection by revealing hidden truths and guiding its wearer through uncertainty. Its design carries the essence of a watchful protector who sees what others cannot.
